casinos is certainly mobile. Smartphone usage continues to grow and mobile gaming is the next

The Irish bookmaker and online casino has recently introduced a new Bet & Watch feature for its
iPhone app which allows gamblers to access the company’s sportsbook as well as casino games like

Study shows increasing number of UK mobile gamers
A recent survey in the UK showed that British people but also their counterparts on the continent use their smartphone not only for calling but also for gaming. The survey has been taken by 2.425 participants and among them 84 percent of all gamers have reported to use their mobile phone at least once a week for gaming. So maybe now it’s finally time to purchase a new mobile device or even a Smartphone.
“Mobile games have been hot in the market of video game industry because more and more people buy smartphones in order to play mobile games. The mobile game market has been increasing so far. Moreover, playing mobile games have become very easy.”, says Dennis Ryan in a press release, executive vice president of Worldwide Publishing at PopCap.
The last few years smartphones have become more popular and most of the people in the US and the UK use devices such as Apple’s iPhone, Motorola’s Droid Phones and the Motion’s Blackberry Line. According to certain Internet sources of information the iPhone 5 will be released in late June or early July.
UK sees an increase in Mobile Gamers
If you thought you needed to be tethered to a TV screen or computer monitor to play video games, think again. Gamers using mobile devices (such as Apple’s iPhone, the Motorola Droid, and Research in Motion’s BlackBerry) are on the rise in the United Kingdom and around the world. Mobile games are “the hottest sector of the video game industry by far,” claims Dennis Ryan, executive vice president of worldwide publishing at PopCap games. He should know – PopCap’s Bejeweled 2 app consistently ranks among the top iPhone app purchases.
The numbers back him up: according to a recent survey, 84 percent of surveyed gamers reported playing games on their mobile devices at least weekly. The dramatic—and, it seems, enduring—increase in smartphone purchases gives strong evidence that this trend will continue. Already, rumors of a summer release of the iPhone 5 have sent currents of intense discussion around the internet, and the release of the Amazon Appstore and Apple’s desktop App Store have provided customers additional ways to buy with their existing devices.
All in all, the omens are good for the mobile gamer? Ryan says, “As more people purchase smartphones and the entire process of finding, purchasing and playing mobile games becomes as simple as browsing the internet, the mobile games market is going to accelerate even more.”
